Launched at RWM08 the Polybody® from The LinkTip Kerbside Group Limited delivers a staggering improvement in payload and is unlike anything else on the market. Figures based on the first model built show a massive 120% increase in available payload compared to a conventional steel body of a similar type on the same chassis.

The body is suitable for a number of everyday collection activities being robust, non corrosive, resistant to chemicals, with high impact strength and available in a number of colours. Visitors to RWM08 had plenty of suggestions for operational use; with the food waste industry particularly impressed with the new body especially its easy clean credentials.

Coupled with the bespoke design service The LinkTip Kerbside Group offer, your Polybody could be mounted on any GVW of chassis with a roof loading or side loading bin lift, with hinged or sliding doors to either or both sides, split into compartments with a fixed or variable position partition and can be sealed for food waste or clinical waste collection.
Recent builds have proved a smaller plastic vehicle potentially carries twice the load of its steel equivalent, reducing the number of trips to empty the vehicle, saving time and fuel and ultimately council resources.

Our customer specifications have included bodies suitable for a 3.5t or 4.6t chassis with or without an RS360 binlift mounted to nearside.
