Warranty
All LinkTip manufactured products are now covered by comprehensive 2 year Warranty subject to the equipment having been Serviced and Inspected by LinkTip engineers in accordance with the equipment maintenance schedule.
In addition a 3rd year package can be purchased which will provide peace of mind for a full 36 months from the date of supply.

WarrantyYears One and Two
Any part of the LinkTip Kerbside manufactured, purchased product that fails due to faulty manufacture or materials from the date of delivery to the customer. The failed part will be replaced / repaired free of charge, subject to fair wear and tear, provided the Linktip terms and conditions have been carried out. Any ancillary product fitted at the request of the customer but not manufactured by Linktip Kerbside i.e. Tail lift, Crane, Hand wash units, Winch, etc along with the chassis will be covered by its manufactures warranty and not Linktip Kerbside.
Year Three Extended Parts and LabourHydraulic System Covered Components:-
Cylinders, relief and solenoid valves, tank and filter housing, hose fittings, hydraulic pump and PTO.
Hydraulic System Exclusions:-
Fair wear and tear, filters, or any component damaged through impact, contaminated, incorrect or low hydraulic oil, or none Linktip replacement components, also any damage caused by chaffing or miss-use including vehicle over loading
Electrical System Covered Components:-
Control buttons, switches & boxes, pressure switches, proximity switches, relays and solenoids.
Electrical System Exclusions:-
Impact damage or any damage caused by contamination to the electrical system by oil, water or other fluids. Lights, light bulbs, fuses, wiring, normal wear and tear or any damage caused by failure to isolate the system during welding, also heat damage.
Body Work & Binlift Covered Components:-
Body structure, pins, bushes, mountings, profiles, compaction plate if applicable, locking mechanism, binlift unit, frame and shafts.
Body Work & Binlift Exclusions
Impact damage or damage caused by incorrect operation or misuse, normal wear and tear, damage caused by placing solid objects into a compaction unit, damage caused by heat or lack of lubrication to the unit or binlift. Normal road and site damage any damage caused by the tail door / binlift / hopper coming into contact with over head power lines or objects. Any damage caused by travelling on site or road with the tail door / binlift / hopper in the raised position.
Terms & ConditionsCustomer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible to ensure the correct service program is carried out as laid out in their supplied equipment manual. This is to be documented and produced on request to Linktip Kerbside at the time of inspection, failure to carry the agreed service will render the warranty void.
The customer will make the equipment available twice yearly to Linktip, for six / twelve months service and inspections at the agreed costs.
If the inspection shows that material and or parts have to be replaced and are not covered by the warranty the customer must purchase and fit genuine Linktip Kerbside parts within 10 working days.
The customer is also responsible to ensure the equipment is used solely for its intended purpose and operated in accordance with the Linktip Kerbside instructions.
In the event of a failure the customer must:-
a) Use all responsible means to protect the product from further damage
b) Notify Linktip Kerbside Service Department as soon as possible
c) Present where requested proof of warranty coverage and vehicle service history
d) Provide a valid order number to cover the repair ( the assumption of warranty will not be taken as authorisation to attend a failure )
Note
The customer must reimburse Linktip Kerbside Ltd for all the costs the latter may incur as the result of any warranty claim in respect of a defect not covered by this warranty agreement.
GeneralThe terms of this guarantee will apply through out the full warranty period.
Failure to operate and maintain the equipment in accordance with warranty policy will render the guarantee null and void.
Linktip Kerbside Standard Terms and conditions
1/ Warranty cover only applies on the understanding that the customer accepts the following terms and conditions.
2/ Unless agreed to the contrary in writing, all previous correspondence, writing, telephone, email or verbal communications are to be superseded and not form part of the agreement.
3/ Linktip Kerbside Ltd makes every effort to make sure all its products are of good quality of sound material and workmanship. However, the company guarantees goods manufactured by it and sold new, against defects notified to the company with in a period of ( 24) (36) months from the date of warranty registration subject to the conditions.
4/ Warranty consideration will only be given providing the customer advices and complies with the Linktip Kerbside warranty procedure. No repair or component replacements to be carried out with out the consent of Linktip Kerbside service department authorisation.
Failure to comply will render the claim void.
5/ Whilst rectifying the customers vehicle, Linktip Kerbside Ltd shall be entitled to carry out at the expense of the customer any operation incidental to performance of, but not part of, the company’s obligations under this warranty including the dismantling, assembly and carriage of parts.
6/ Parts replaced under warranty shall become the property of Linktip Kerbside Ltd.
7/ The warranty period for a replacement or repaired part shall expire on the same date as the warranty period for the part replaced.
8/ Any cost involved in the delivery of a vehicle or part to Linktip Kerbside or a nominated repair facility and in the collection of the same or any replacement vehicle shall be the customers
9/ The liability of Linktip Kerbside Ltd under the warranty is limited under the company’s adjudication of the repair or replacement of the defective part/parts or to the repair of any defect caused by defective workmanship.
The company shall be entitled to replace failed components with reconditioned units as it sees fit.
10/ Vehicles requiring attendance within the terms of the warranty are to be made available within normal working hours. Out of hours attendance can be arranged under special circumstances but at a cost to the customer.
Exclusions of WarrantyThe following are expressly excluded from warranty coverage
1a / Replacement parts necessitated by wear and tear incurred in normal usage, wearing parts include bushes, bearings, slide blocks, filters, oils, bump stops, seals and similar items.
2a / Any item, component or area damaged by impact or misuse, lack of maintenance or use of any none Linktip Kerbside approved components .
3a / Failure due to corrosion by chemical or physical erosion.
4a / Repairs carried out by a third party not acknowledged by Linktip Kerbside Ltd and who’s repair may have adverse actions to the equipment.
5a / Failure caused by Fire, Theft, Freezing, Vandalism, Riot or Explosion.
6a / Failure caused by Lightening, Earthquake, Windstorm, Hail, Water or Flood.
7a / Failure caused by non Linktip Kerbside Ltd repairs warranty.
8a / Loss of time, loss of use of unit, inconvenience and consequential loss that may result from such a failure.
9a / Warranty polices are non transferable in the event of the customer disposing of the unit.
